This course is designed for those already trained with Finishing Touches in micropigmention or skin rejuvenation and have 2 years experience.

Course Highlights:

Redefining Micro Needling: Offering both an inkless and colour wash solution. Utilising specialised needles and serum options to target specific scar areas, stimulating collagen and elastin production, and improving skin texture and tone.

The Power of 3: Using 3 specific needles and techniques including :- Micro-vibration, tilting plate micro needling & targeted needling.

Comprehensive Learning Experience: Blending theoretical knowledge with practical application, this course builds confidence and expertise in providing effective micro needling treatments using an array of specialist needles.

What is Micro Needling?

Micro needling, also known as skin needling, is a cutting-edge skin rejuvenation treatment that uses numerous small needles to puncture the skin, creating micro-traumas or micro-channels. This process activates the body’s natural healing response, leading to increased production of collagen and elastin. These proteins are essential for maintaining skin elasticity and the reproduction of collagen which helps to repair skin that has undergone injury.

The micro-channels created by micro needling can also enhance the penetration of active ingredients into deeper skin layers. This promotes cell regeneration and skin remodelling and further boosts collagen and elastin production, making micro needling highly effective for improving skin texture and tone.

Micro needling is not only effective as an anti ageing solution but is an excellent option when treating all manners of scars.  The micro trauma caused by specific needles, triggers a healing and remodelling response which minimises scarring as the skin repairs.

The use of specialist serums in conjunction with needling aid the rejuvenation and overall health of the skin.

Why Should You Advance Your Career with Meso Body Micro Needling?

The demand for micro needling treatments is experiencing significant growth globally, driven by a few key factors. One major reason is the increasing awareness and desire to address various skin imperfections, such as scarring, stretch marks, and signs of aging. As people become more conscious of their skin health and appearance, the appeal of minimally invasive treatments such as micro needling rises.

Technological advancements have also played a crucial role. Innovations in micro needling devices and more advanced needle configurations, have made these treatments more effective and accessible. These developments have expanded the range of treatable conditions, making micro needling a versatile option for both facial rejuvenation and scar repair.

The growing number of clinics and aesthetic practices offering micro needling services further contributes to its popularity. As more practitioners incorporate micro needling into their service offerings, patients have easier access to these treatments, encouraging wider adoption.

A scar is a growth of collagen beneath the skin that is usually formed as a result of wound healing. Not all scars are the result of wounds, burns, surgeries and accidents. Skin diseases caused by bacteria, fungus, or viruses can also result in scarring. For example, acne often leaves a variety of scars, and stretch marks are a form of scars caused by weight loss/gain for example pregnancy or from growth spurts.

The process of needling causes a controlled injury, setting off the healing and remodelling process in the skin. This process leads to the regeneration of the skin, minimising the previously scarred tissue.

There are 4 main stages to healing.

Hemostasias  -  This is your body's emergency response to stop bleeding and protect the wound immediately after an injury.

Inflammatory Phase -  Your body sends special cells to the injured area to fight off any germs and start the healing process. We want to make this phase as short as possible to quickly protect the skin from germs.

Proliferation Phase -  This is when most of the actual healing happens, filling in the wound. Your body starts building new tissue and skin to replace what was damaged.

Maturation Phase (Remodelling Stage) -  This is the final stage where your skin gets stronger, scars become less noticeable, and the wound area fully heals and returns to normal.

Our specialist course will teach you how, with the use of specialist serums and aftercare products which can support and increase effective healing for the best possible outcomes.

Stretch marks are deep skin tears. More specifically, it is a part of the dermis – the middle layer of the skin between the epidermis & hypodermis – that tears spontaneously due to the rupture of elastin & collagen fibers. The size of these tears is variable, ranging from about 0.2 to 1 cm in width and about 5 to 20 cm in length.

Stretch marks often start as red or purple lines on the skin and gradually fade to white or silver over time. They are a common and natural part of life, especially during periods of rapid body changes.

Micro needling or inkless scar revision (ISR) causes controlled injuries that stimulate the production of elastin and collagen fibres.

Acne scars are depressed or sunken atrophic scars resulting when there is a loss of tissue.

Acne can cause 3 main types of scarring:-
Ice Pick Scars which are deep and narrow and extent into the dermis.

Boxcar Scars which are broader and more rectangular depressions that resemble chickenpox scars.

Rolling Scars which are wide with sloping edges giving the skin a wavy texture.

Targeted needling treatment and colour wash solutions can improve the overall appearance of acne scarring.

Caused by intended injury often as a method to cope with emotional or psychological pain. Scars tend to be linear made from sharp objects cutting the skin in straight lines, however scars can be in close proximity to one another and overlapping in intensity.

Micro needling assists to reduce the appearance by stimulating collagen and elastin.

Advanced Skin Healing Product Range

Using specialist serums that glide and plump during treatment and post-treatment anti inflammatory solutions that aid faster recovery times and superior results.

Micro needling initiates the scar minimisation process by creating controlled micro-injuries in the skin. This triggers the body's inflammatory response, which is the first phase of healing. By using our advanced serums and aftercare products, you can further stimulate the inflammatory and remodelling stages of healing, resulting in improved skin texture and reduced scarring.
